Aluminum & Copper Recycling Center Corporation (hereinafter, “the Company,” “We,” “Our” or “Us”) has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter, “this Policy”) and will handle the personal information (which means personal information as defined in Article 2.1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter, the “Personal Information Protection Act”); the same applies hereinafter) that you (“the customer”) have entrusted to us with the utmost care so as to ensure its protection.

1. Acquisition of personal information

We will acquire personal information within the scope necessary by lawful and fair means after specifying the purpose of use.

2. Use of personal information

We will use the customer’s personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use. We will not use the customer’s personal information beyond the scope of the following purposes of use without the customer’s consent, except as permitted by law.

  • Negotiations, referrals, communications, contracting, ordering, payment, and other processing and management relating to transactions with the customer;
  • Delivery and receipt of our products and services, etc. in transactions with the customer;
  • Provision of information on events, exhibitions, etc. and other information related to our products and services;
  • To improve the quality of our products and services, and to plan and develop new products and services;
  • Investigation and analysis of information related to our products and services;
  • Information exchange and communication with industry participants and relevant organizations related to our business;
  • To respond to various inquiries and requests for materials, etc. from the customer;
  • Provision of information on recruitment activities, response to communications, etc.; and
  • In addition to the above, the purpose of use that we specified when the customer provided the personal information

3. Provision of personal information to third parties

We will not provide the customer’s personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent, except as stipulated by law.
We may provide the customer’s personal information to third parties in foreign countries. Such foreign countries may not have a personal information protection system of the same level as Japan; however, we will not provide the customer’s personal information to any third party in a foreign country other than those who implement the measures required by the Japanese Personal Information Protection Act, except in cases where it is permitted by law or when we have obtained the customer’s consent in a manner stipulated by law.

4. Joint use of personal information

We will jointly use personal information that the customer has provided as follows.

  • Purpose of use by joint users

  • Name, address and representative of the party responsible for joint use

5. Management of personal information

We take the necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information provided by the customer and to otherwise ensure secure management.

6. Education about personal information

We have established internal regulations regarding the protection of personal information. We take measures to ensure our employees (including general officers and employees, part-timers, dispatched workers, etc.) and other relevant personnel are aware of such regulations, and will continue to improve and maintain these regulations.

7. Requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of personal information

If we have received a request from the customer or their representative to provide notification of the purpose of use, disclose (including disclosure of records provided by third parties), correct, make additions, delete, suspend use, erase, or suspend provision to third parties with respect to retained personal information, we will respond appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other regulations.

8. Other

We may change, modify, or add to this Policy as necessary without prior notice at our own discretion or along with the revision or abolishment of laws and regulations.
